Liverpool who are currently topping the Premier League standings could be crowned champions before their next game on Monday, March 16, against Everton in what will be a tough tie.
Jurgen Klopp’s men could be celebrating winning the title before that game against Everton if their big rivals Manchester City should lose their next two games.
Presently, Liverpool are topping the Premier League standings with 82 points after 29 games, while Manchester City occupy second position with 57 points after 28 games.
Pep Guardiola and his wards will be facing Arsenal on Wednesday, March 11, in their outstanding game before playing Burnley this coming Saturday in their next Premier League tie.
The permutation now according to AS is that should Manchester City lose these two games, then they will have no chance again to catch Liverpool on the Premier League standings.
But Manchester City will be going into their next game against Arsenal with aggressive minds having lost their last game at Old Trafford against Manchester United 2-0.
